1. I don't like keeping it anymore. *laughs*
It's true! I am not having much fun keeping up with this list mostly because I have to count and re-count it every week and attempt to track everything I have made. I know I've made a ton of small things that I totally missed and others, especially wash/dish cloths, are totally lost to accurate counts. What I have learned is that I make a lot of stuff and a LOT of it is on the fly. I don't plan my projects out this far in advance and there is a very good reason for that.
2. I'm not going to finish my list.
Reality is this: 2 of the items are thread crochet. I have already put 8 hours into the table runner and its only about 5 inches long. That says a lot, doesn't it? The state fair project will most likely be the last item on my list finished by the end of this project. It's true. And ya know what - I'm seriously ok with that. I think I did pretty darn good on even getting a list together and breaking the 50% mark. I'd like to have been totally successful, but honestly, looking at my list, I think I have been successful, even if it wasn't specific to a list.
3. I'll finish the blog project.
I know I'm going to finish this project. It has actually had some benefit to it. The biggest benefit is that I got to meet some wonderful people through the project. Yup - there are a lot of great bloggers out there going through the same thing I am with this project. And I'm glad I met them and have got to get to know them through their blogging. I also appreciate that this project has allowed me to "somewhat" accurately share what I craft in a year. The list is pretty crazy when I look it. It's crazy and pretty cool all at the same time. I'm going to finish it through - 52 posts.
So to finish with a picture - I have started making some pet beds for donation. I made one for my cat and wondered why I should stop at one. There are plenty of animals in shelters that would appreciate a small barrier between them and their cage floor. This is a picture of the beds I've been making. They are a pattern of my own making - posted to the blog for free yesterday.

My list has always been a loose guideline type of thing and if I feel the need to change it or take away from it I do. I think the main aim was to set out a direction to head in with your knitting/crochet and to blog more about it so all in all I'd say you were far more than 50% successful. I love your bet beds and thinkg they are a wonderful idea.
Wow, that is some incredible crafting! I wish I could get that much done, but I know there is no way I'm going to finish my list!

What a sweet thing for you to do - make pet beds for the local shelter.
I consider you successful! I agree though, meeting others with a fiber addiction has been oh-so-fun. I imagine we were able to all meet somewhere together we would be a wild and fun loving bunch! I love you pet bed idea--we got our Molly dog from the shelter and she was so traumatized when we got her--it took her months to recover from it.

I think you've been hugely successful, not to mention an inspiration :) Perhaps you need a smaller table, however.... ;) What a lovely thing to do to make pet beds.
