Love the socks and the things we have to do to make things a surprise for the holiday gifts eh! Will head over now to see the fairisle post as I missed that during the week.
Oh no what a disaster, I would try catching every third of fourth stitch and seeing if that helps, could it be your catching too often, other than that I have no other solutions as to how you might rectify it. Hope you do find a way though.
I couldn't agree more. I added several more rows to get the length I did end up with. My model is 5'6 so I cannot imagine how small their model is. I like to know what I am getting rather then get part way through and realize I will gave to modify the pattern.
Thank you. I can try longer floats. Another suggestion on ravelry was to stagger them. I will do both.
Great socks. Don't you just love trying to remember all the lies until Christmas? But if it works, than it works. LOL Sorry to hear about the epic fail. Looking forward to the pattern for the tiny bag. I have a grand Daughter that loves to play with Barbies.
Lovely socks that fit perfectly! He'll love them.
Oh Christmas lies... and the plotting... I love them x
Oh the lies! They look great on the intended recipient, so YAY for you!
Not an epic lie... Sometimes we have to gently mislead our loved ones so that the actuality of the gift and the person who gets it, are truly surprised and appreciative of the gift!
I'm so sorry this has happened, unfortunately I do not have an answer - just hope you find one. The wrong side looks lovely!!
