I was terribly afraid this day would come, especially after starting on the big afghan. I'm getting burned out.

I have only made squares - lots and lots of squares, and I still have around 53 more to go. UGH!

Working on the afghan has totally stalled any and all progress on my list below so unfortunately, no real progress is being made there either. Between the yarn-burnout and a stressful job, everything I do online is suffering. I missed 2 scheduled YT videos, I haven't shared any FOs, I haven't had any major insight to share on this blog or my new weight loss blog (which was started, as always, with good intent)... nothing is getting as done as I'd like it to be - and I just lack the umph to get it done.

The garden is doing pretty good. I am vlogging about my progress there on YouTube. We have radish and lettuce seedlings growing as of yesterday.

Yesterday was the close of my giveaway as well. Unfortunately, I didn't get any blog followers joining in the fun so if you have any suggestions as to why how I handled it was a bad idea OR if there is a way I could do it better, let me know. I plan on doing a giveaway like this every time I get a payout from Google so I'd like to make sure I include my blog followers and my YouTube subscribers since that payout is generated by both.

Because of my lack of anything really to share, not half way to the end of the afghan yet so still not sharing that), I'll share another one of my random photos.

This was a large doggie cage at a local farm and home supply store. We thought it might work as a good babysitter. *smiles*

Hope your knitting bug returns soon Cris for some more squares, how about a quick little project just to break up the afghan a bit, I find sometimes this helps me, the other thing I do is I take a break for a couple of days when I get a burnout and then return refreshed.
Still can't wait to see a photo lol.

Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate, so I'm not surprised you're finding it hard to meet everything. I reckon you're doing a fine job with the things that matter, I'm sure anything that isn't top priority can wait. I agree with Ruth, maybe a couple of frivolous quick makes will make you feel you've achieved something without taking away too much time from your other projects.

Hope you have a good and less stressful week.

I was just about to say the same thing as Faith - it sounds to me like you've bitten off too much. I struggle to keep up one blog and work full-time :) Cute photo of the kids in the cage!

Suggest you put your squares away for awhile and do 5 or 10 rows on everything else so you'll feel like you're making headway that way.  Or each day work on a different item, that way everything feels new and fresh to you.  Good luck on the job stress.  No help on the give away.  Don't think I knew you were doing one.

Then again, I remember signing up for someone's give away; maybe it was yours?  I should have written it down somewhere, can't trust my memory when I visit so many blogs.

Wow, you done list is huge! Blankets are terrible, I really need to get on with my own again, but it's just not as interesting as other things :)
