Another busy week as far as week and school are concerned but very little progress in the craft department. I did cast on a simple knit scarf I thought I'd give to the man for Christmas until he saw it and declared it was a rather feminine scarf and was curious if I were giving it to my mother. When I said no, he asked who.... I just kinda mumbled something about selling it.
epic fail for me. *smirks*
I'm going to continue working on it and give it to my friend as a Christmas present. I know she'll appreciate it. As for progress on the list - it just isn't happening. I have an exam this week so I'm hoping after that, I'll have ample time to work on the list items, including the Joseph Wrap that I started a couple weeks ago.
I would also like to say welcome to those individuals who just started following my blog this week AND in the same breath, turn around and apologize for not getting many posts up this week (or last week). I am hoping to be able to give some blog love later this week after my exam. I am getting my regularly scheduled posts done... I'm just not getting my normal stuff out there, which is bugging the dickens outta me.
I have still yet to find my flip cam or my other digital camera. Its really starting to frustrate me because I have a couple video tutorials I want to get going on and I can't because I don't have equipment *grrrrr* The man seems to think he knows what box it is.. in the garage (it wasn't supposed to be in the garage) so perhaps tomorrow I shall send him on a quest. If there are any video tutorials you'd like to see, drop a note here. I'm taking any and all direction to put videos up that people are wanting to see.
Thanks again - I hope you have a fantabulous week!

Sorry for the frustrations you're feeling with little time, little progress, and your lost cameras. Hope things improve all the way around. Good luck on your exam. Guys can be pretty picky, about what seems masculine to them.
I just keep telling myself that its temporary - soon I will have some more time to do what I want/need to do including getting back on track with my eating to lose the last bit of weight I need to lose. Cameras = still lost. The man did find the tripod today :)
Oh dear !!!! Hope your friend likes the scarf. Look forward to seeing pics when you find your camera. Have a good week.
I've not made much progress myself lately but we'll both get there eventually! Have a great week!
It can be hard to please the menfolk. I stick with completely plain patterns and black yarn, and it has worked wonders :).
Just saw that you're over 50% in your overall percentage for Year of Projects. Awesome!
48% on my actual original list *laughs* I have one more swap out coming because the yarn I got didn't work for the Joseph Wrap but it all is coming along relatively nicely. I'm hoping to be over 50 on both by Sunday.... but we shall see what the work/school week brings LOL
The big problem here is finding yarn. I know I could get it online, but when working with new yarn I like to see/feel it first. I really thought this yarn was more manly.... hmph. LOL oh well, my friend will have a nice scarf for Christmas (or I'll sell it, who knows!)
Odd when I need to do it most is when I have the least time to do it *laughs* oh well... so goes life, right? Enjoy your day!!!
I still have my digital camera so I'll get pics up soon. Perhaps for WIP Wednesday and I can share a few of my projects that I have going.
Good luck with your exam!
Thanks. I think it went really well :)
